1. Diesel engine should adopt restorative supercharging technology. The core of this technology is to adjust the rated working point of the supercharger to adapt to the plateau environment, so that when the altitude increases, the supercharger can increase the speed and increase the air supply, while avoiding the damage caused by supercharger overspeed. This method can improve the operation of diesel engine in plateau areas. Compared with ordinary supercharged diesel engines, it can significantly reduce the increase in fuel consumption rate, the decrease in power and the increase in exhaust temperature.
2. Make full use of intercooler technology: try to improve the cooling effect of the intercooler to improve the temperature increase of the intake air caused by the pressure increase under the action of the supercharger, thereby increasing the air density of the intake air under the same pressure conditions, and then optimize the operation of the oil engine.
3. Increase the pre-pressure of the water cooling system: due to the decrease in atmospheric pressure, the opening pressure of the pressure cap of the water cooling system radiator will be reduced accordingly, thereby affecting the normal operation of the water cooling system. By increasing the opening pressure of the pressure cap, the atmospheric pressure reduction caused by the increase in altitude can be offset, so that the opening pressure of the water cooling system is equivalent to that in the plain area.
4. Improve the heat dissipation effect of the coolant: reduce the temperature of the coolant as much as possible, reduce the temperature of the cylinder block and cylinder head, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing the intake temperature, increase the air density, increase the oxygen supply of the intake air, and improve the operating conditions.
5. Improve the design of the air filter to adapt to the dry and dusty environment of the plateau. When the diesel engine is supercharged, the air supply will increase, especially when there is a lot of sand and dust on the plateau. Therefore, the air filter should have the characteristics of high efficiency, low resistance, large flow, long life, small size, light weight, low cost and easy maintenance. You can choose to add a first-level air filter or use a desert-type air filter to ensure the normal operation of the diesel engine. The maintenance interval of the air filter should be 50 to 100 hours.
6. In view of the problem of difficulty in starting diesel engines in extremely cold areas, auxiliary low-temperature preheating systems such as oil heating, cylinder jacket water heating and intake heating can be used to make it easier to start the diesel engine. At the same time, low-temperature diesel, coolant and low-temperature lubricating oil suitable for the ambient temperature should be used, and ensure that the low-temperature battery has sufficient power. Generally speaking, the grades of low-temperature diesel, low-temperature lubricating oil and coolant should be at least 5°C lower than the ambient temperature. This series of comprehensive measures will more effectively solve the problem of diesel engine starting difficulties at low temperatures.
